I am absolutely a novice when it comes to this stuff. I am working with PSP8 and I folowed the tutorial and came up with this signature below. Thanks for these tutorials, they are really helpful in understanding PSP and some of the subtleties.

I'm very new to PSPv8 and found this Drip tutorial excellent. While I'm at this novice learning stage, I use whatever fonts/images are provided in the tutorials and follow the steps literally until I get the hang of it. I was surprised how easy it was to get a similar result. That doesn't make me clever of course. It just verifies how well the author has guided me every step of the way. This is the second tutorial I've done since I joined yesterday. Thanks for making them available. I'm keen to try more. Lindy

It is a really great tut which teaches several techniques.
Welcome to the forums Lindy
I was goofing around and decided to add a puddle to the drip.
I merely duplicated my drip layer, then used the warp brush to swirl and push it around some. Then I used the raster deform tool to size it and give it some perspetive. Add a slight drop shadow and a couple of highlights for the 3d look.
Now I need a wet paint sign LOL

Thank you for the welcome, "Gravy". I noticed in your earlier Drip sample where you have the drips rounded like droplets at the bottom. I've tried to shape mine like that but can't figure out how. Lindy

Good eyes
I added eyecandy5 nature drips and eyecandy5 impact clear glass to it if I recall.
If you don't have the eye candy plugin look for Redfield Craquelure 3d free plugin if you play with it a bit you could probably get a similar result.
You could also play around with inside beveling but would need a very low 1 or 2 px setting then add a single light source from high above.
There are several ways to do it but plugin filters are the quickest.
