Cool effect!   Cheesy

Although I did not use the really cool silhouettes like you did, I used a hawaiian dingbat that I have.... (PSP X)

I think I like yours better, lol!! Anyway, the tutorial seemed to be in good order, no problems with it.  I did have to go back and re-position the main tree up a little more when I realized the reflection would be stretched downward more....but otherwise, this is great! Thanks for doing this!

Richie,

In PSP X, I get a floating selection layer in Step 3 and when I defloat it, it is merged with the background layer.  A Promote Selection to Layer is needed, for me anyway, before the Deselect.  That is following your exact steps, but I always put text down as vector and get a selection from that if necessary.

Cheesy I love your image David! That is so cute!! Too funny!

Yeah, I almost always use Vector text...I had to create a seperate window with the dingbat, then copy it over as a new layer. I know it's a roundabout way, but it worked for me. Cheesy

Works great nice job

In step 6 instead of using shift + draging the nodes, you could use ctl + drag one bottom corner and the scale will stay the same on both sides.
