Drawn in PSP7 - techniques can be applied of course to higher version  Wink  Comments please.  I'll make the tutorial soon.

I'm a little stuck on step 5~  in the copied merged layer; with text still selected,  using the ctl + shift + f/ctl + arrow keys doesn't seem to shift the text into a 3-D look.... am I supposed to press all the keys at the same time... or...maybe something wasn't clear to me in step 5...

other than that, it's looking great...just a little stuck in that step.. LOL

Nicely done, its one of the best chrome effects ive seen so far, now im going to go see if i can use it on other things than lettering.

You can use any color, gradient, pattern... in this tutorial on your letters and it will come out nicely.  It also works with PSP , 8 and 9... probably 10 as well.  I'll put something up that used gold letters, just to show the versatility of this tut.

Your welcome... it's a great tut!  I'll have to say, though, the feathered selection... I do it lower so more of the reflected letters are shown.
