In what step are you having trouble with? I'm going to try to create a PSP7 version for this tutorial

Hi
It could be right from the beginning as I am not sure how to convert the background to a raster layer.  Cry and truly this could be the problem.  What do you think.  I tried promote to layer, but still
could not get it to work.  I do not get the same screen as per Step # 5, 'I have the full screen selected' and also also only one dotted line appears around the iguana? Not sure what I am doing wrong.  From there step 6, when I increase the opacity I get a full colour page again?  Any help would be fantastic.
regards

That's correct, in PSP7 you have to use ( Layers > Promote to Layer ).

Save whatever you have completed in .psp and post it here -- let's start from there.

Thankyou heaps for that.  Had a guess that was how to do it.  I shall do the rest in the morning as
we are just off out.  Thankyou once again for your time.

 Roll Eyes

Hi again
Thankyou for your quick response yesterday that was super.
I think I found where I came unstuck.
Step 5
Invert
Contract 8
Invert again
I then need to click on the picture of the iguana as the other edge of the whole frame had a dotted
line around it, and did not have the double dotted line like you have in step 5.  This was the only way
I could get the remaining steps to work.
Selection -again I need to click only on the outer egde of Iguana
Floodfill
I now need to know how to warp as my warp does not have Mesh etc.
Any help would be fantastic.
Thanks again
Gwen
PS I cannot send the file as it is too big over 255kb, what do I do now. Ta

Glad you found a workaround  Wink

Anyway, I am sorry I actually realized psp7 doesn't have the mesh warp  Embarrassed, you can actually skip this step and just add a drop shadow to provide a more 3d looking.

 Cheesy

I was wondering about that.  It does not look as cool though.   Cry
Am I able to still get an upgrade to version 9 or is it not Psp Pro X?
Love to know.
The tutorial is fantastic by the way.
Love it.

PS  Any joy with where I could purchase an upgrade from version 7 to 9.
Version Pro x is only for win 2000 or xp and I am still on 98.  Would love your feedback
on this.  Ta
