Bronze NavBar

Tutorial is written for Paint Shop Pro 6. The methods used are compatible with Paint Shop Pro 7, 8, 9 and 10.

(Example of Foreground color set to White and Background color set to Black)

Draw a Rounded Rectangle using the "Selection" tool

Settings I used:
Selection Type = Rounded Rectangle
Feather = 0
Anti-alias = checked

Using the "Flood Fill" tool , fill the area with Linear Gradient using the following options:

Fill Style = Linear Gradient
Blend Mode = Normal
Paper Texture & Match Mode = None
Opacity = 100
Sample Merged = NOT checked

Under the "Flood Fill Tool Options" tab, follow same settings in Figure 2.

After applying the "Flood Fill", click on Colors>Colorize (Hue=30  Saturation=80)

You should have the same image as shown in Figure 3

Fill the area of the selection using the "Flood Fill" tool

Settings I used:

Fill Style = Linear Gradient
Blend Mode = Normal
Paper Texture = None
Match Mode = None
Opacity = 100
Sample Merge = NOT checked

(Go to Flood Fill Options and follow the same settings in Figure 2 but this time, set the "Repeats" value to 0

After applying the "Flood Fill", click on Colors>Colorize (Hue=30  Saturation=80). Your image look almost the same as Figure 4 (NOTE: Example image not shown in 16 Million Colors)
