Engraved Button

Apply a Linear Gradient Fill using the settings below:

Linear Gradient Settings:
Fill Style = Linear Gradient
Blend Mode = Normal
Paper Texture and Match Mode = None

Under the Flood Fill Options Tab
Gradient = Metallic
Angle = 0
Repeats = 0

Apply some depth by darkening the active selection.  Click on Colors>Adjust>Gamma Correction (RGB = .50)

Deselect image by pressing [CTRL+D]

Load the Button selection (Selections>Load From Alpha Channel)

Contract selection by 5 (Selections>Modify>Contract)

Save this selection to alpha channel for later use (i.e. Colorize) and name it Inside Button

Apply a Linear Gradient Fill to your current selection using the settings below.

Linear Gradient Settings:
Fill Style = Linear Gradient
Blend Mode = Normal
Paper Texture and Match Mode = None

Under the Flood Fill Options Tab
Gradient = Metallic
Angle = 0
Repeats = 0

Zoom your image .  While holding the [Shift] key, draw a white straight line as shown in the example below (Use the same settings in Step 3 only this time set Line Width = 10)

While selection is active, apply the Gaussian Blur filter (Image>Blur>Gaussian Blur) Radius = 2.5

Shadow Color = Black
Opacity = 90
Blur = 10
Vertical Offset = 3
Horizontal Offset = 0
