Metallic Wire 2
9 Add another layer (Layers>New Raster Layer).  Contract your current selection by 12 (Selections>Modify>Contract).  Fill your your current with Solid Color fill .  Press [CTRL+A] to highlight all data/objects and move your mouse pointer on top of the smaller white line, drag it close to the lower edge of your main wire.

 

 
10 Load the Wire selection (Selections>Load from Alpha Channel).  Apply a Gaussian Blur filter (Image>Blur>Gaussian Blur)  Radius = 3

 

 
11 To add some inset lines:

Set foreground color to Black.

Pick the drawing tool and follow the same settings as shown.

** OPTIONAL
You can create the lines as vector to make corrections a lot easier using the Vector Object Selection Tool. This is only available for PSP6 and 7.

 

 
12 Start drawing lines as shown, zoom your image to make it easier and have nice results.  Use this to edit any mistakes or simply press [CTRL+Z] to undo.
