Blending Photos
3 Now, choose your background image (background.jpg on this tutorial).  Then, Add a new raster layer (Layers>New Raster Layer).  Paste clipboard content by pressing  CTRL+E.  Use the Mover  or Selection tool to position the lady image.

 

 
5  Deselect selection by pressing CTRL+D. Then, change current layers blend mode to Hard Light (Layers>Properties). 

 

 
6  Adjust background and top layer's Brightness and Contrast (Shift+B) and Opacity if needed.

Top Layer's Brightness/Contrast adjusted to 70/45
