Hit Ok and you should have the text on a line.

Place a copy of the text selection into your clipboard [CTRL+C].  Use [CTRL+E] to paste the clipboard content (text selection) into an existing image.

4 Well, we can apply the same technique to create some wires. Pick the Text Tool and set the styles as shown at the right image. Fill is set to Sunburst Gradient with Vertical and Horizontal Offset is set to 50.

Place the text cursor over the line. The cursor will turn into a symbol which represents Vector Text on a path (See Figure 2).  Left click and this will bring out the text dialogue box.
