| 4 Open an existing picture or image.

5 Go back to the original image, then add a new layer (Layers>New Raster Layer).
Apply a Rounded-Selection  as shown in the example image.
Selection Type = Circle
Antialias = Enable
Feather = 0
|
6 Apply a Pattern Fill  on your current selection using the photo you opened in
Step 5. Change layer's blend mode properties to Color (Layer>Properties). Flatten layers (Layers>Merge>Merge All). Press [CTRL+C] to capture the current selection then press [CTRL+V] to paste the captured selection onto a new image.
