Tutorial is written for Paint Shop Pro 7. The methods used are compatible with Paint Shop Pro 6, 8, 9 and 10.

| 1 Open an existing texture image. To use the same image, simply right-click and the choose "Save-As". You can also use Paint Shop Pro's Pattern Fill.

2 Pick the Type Text Tool  and enter any text on your background image, below is the settings I used:
Font = Windings Size = 150 Antialias = Checked Floating = Checked
Save current text selection to Alpha Channel (Selections>Save to Alpha Channel>Ok).
