Gradient-Filled Text
Tutorial is written for Paint Shop Pro 9. The methods used are compatible with Paint Shop Pro 7, 8 and 10.

1 Start a new 450x250 pixels, white background image. Pick the Type Text Tool  and enter the text (any color) as shown.
Type Text Settings:
Font = Scriptina Size = 100 Antialias = checked Floating = Selected Stroke Size = 0

| 2 Save Selection to Alpha Channel (Selections>Load/Save Selection>Save Selection to Alpha Channel). Then, hit your Delete key.
Load your saved text selection (Selections>Load/Save Selection>Load Selection from Alpha Channel).
