Requirements: Paint Shop Pro 6, 7

1 Make a new 160x160, black background and 16 millions color image. |

2 Enter a text using the Text Tool
Settings I Used:
Font Name = Garamond
Size = 150
Floating = yes
Antialias = checked
Color = White
Center the text. Save the text selection to Alpha Channel (Selections>Save to Alpha Channel) name the selection as "Text" |

3 Deselect current selection by pressing [CTRL+D]
Apply the Gaussian blur filter (Image>Blur>Gaussian Blur) Radius = 5
Load the saved "text" selection from Alpha channel (Selections>Load from Alpha Channel) |

4 Add a new layer (Layers>New Raster Layer)
Using the Flood Fill Tool apply a sunburst gradient fill using the settings below:
Flood Fill Settings:
Fill Style = Sunburst Gradient
Blend Mode = Normal
Paper Texture and Match Mode = None
Opacity = 100
(Under the Flood Fill Options tab)
Gradient = Electric Stripe
Repeats = 0
Horizontal = 31
Vertical = 50 |

5 Click on Layers>Properties then set
Blend Mode = Burn
Apply the sculpture filter (Image>Effects>Sculpture) and set the Presets Value = Pine |

6 Apply the mosaic glass filter (Image>Effects>Mosaic Glass) and use the same settings as below:

7 Merge all layers (Layers>Merge>Merge All)
Apply Inner Bevel Filter (Image>Effects>Inner Bevel)
Inner Bevel Settings:


By loading the text selection, you can use Cut&Paste to place the text on a textured background.
