1 Start by opening an existing textured image or a photo. This will be the texture fill
to be used for this tutorial. |

2 Make a new 200x200 pixels, 16 million colors and white background image
Pick the text tool and start adding any text.
Text Settings I Used:
Font = Garamond
Size = 200
Floating = yes
Antialias = checked
A text will be used as an example for this tutorial, although this technique can be applied to any active
selection (i.e. circle, rectangle)

3 While text selection is active, apply a Pattern Fill .
Fill Settings:
Fill Style = Pattern
Blend Mode = Normal
Paper Texture = None
Match Mode = None
Under the Flood Fill Options Tab choose Texturefill_pattern.gif

4 You can apply the Inner Bevel Filter (Image>Effects>Inner Bevel) using the
settings as shown below. (This filter is only available for PSP6 and PSP7)

You can use copy the current selection to a textured background image by pressing [CTRL+C]
(copy to clipboard) and press [CTRL+E] to paste the clipboard content to a textured background.
I did apply Drop Shadow filter (Image>Effects>Drop Shadow) on this example. |

The example image was done using the photo below as the texture fill and applying the Weave filter (Image>Effects>Weave)
Inner Bevel settings used on this example.
